In 2013, Cory was hired by Howard Lorber and Dottie Herman to head up the expansion of Douglas Elliman to the West Coast. Since then he has been instrumental in growing both Douglas Elliman's residential brokerage and New Development hybrid platform in California. In 2015, Cory was named Executive Vice President of Business Development - in this role he oversees the expansion of Douglas Elliman's expansion in California, recruitment, and holds a key position within the company's leadership.

Cory Weiss' real estate practice is defined by his unwavering passion for his clients and his critical, insider knowledge of the high-end Los Angeles market. For more than fifteen years, Cory developed a powerful sales business with a steadfast approach to both finding clients the right home as well as successfully marketing significant properties. Simply put, real estate has been his passion and most homes he has represented have been off market transactions.  Furthermore, Cory has an in depth understanding of new developments sales, marketing, and pre-development planning.

Cory is known for his acumen of unique architectural homes and has represented numerous transactions of properties by Jon Lautner, Pierre Koenig and Paul Williams, to name a few, Cory is equally passionate about the vast spectrum of styles the Los Angeles residential landscape offers. Clients have leveraged Cory's experience and unwavering trust to represent them on properties across the country, from New York and Miami, to Colorado and up and down the California coast. Cory attributes his enduring success to his principled view of his client's needs their privacy is first and foremost.

After living in numerous cities across the country growing up, Cory has been a Los Angeles resident for over fifteen years and is proud to call LA home.
